VIA Homestay Information
VIA homestay families and homes are carefully checked and are an important part of our school. These families provide opportunities for our students to improve their English and learn about Canadian culture.
Some Homestay FAQ's:
How can I arrange a homestay?
Send homestay applications and $200 to VIA. VIA will then find the best homestay according to the information on the application.
When should I pay my homestay fee?
The homestay fee ($700 / month) must be paid when a student moves into a homestay.
How are homestay fees paid?
Homestay fees can be paid either directly to the homestay, or to VIA.
When should the homestay be told if a student wants to move out?
Students should tell their homestay one month (4 weeks) before they move out.
